What actually drives the price

Duration & timings

Most Glasgow weddings run five to seven hours of active DJ time. Longer sets and early-morning setups add cost. All bookings finish by 22:00 in line with our sanctuary promise.

Equipment & venue size

A 60-guest church hall needs less rig than a 200-guest hotel ballroom. Extra speakers, subs, wireless mics for speeches and dance-floor lighting are the biggest line items.

Travel across the UK

Weddings inside Greater Glasgow have no travel surcharge. Edinburgh, Stirling and Ayrshire are typically flat-rate; England and Wales are quoted per booking including fuel and, where needed, accommodation.

Music curation

Gospel, Afrobeats, reggae, highlife, hip-hop and clean contemporary sets are all included. Fully custom playlists, cultural entrance sets and bilingual MC prompts take extra prep time.

Add-ons

Uplighting, dance-floor wash, extra microphones for toasts and ceremony PA are common upgrades. Each is priced individually so you only pay for what your venue actually needs.

Season & date

Saturdays between May and September book out first and sit at the top of each range. Off-peak Fridays, Sundays and winter dates are typically lower.

Gospel & clean wedding sets — same price, more prep

Clean-lyric editing, gospel-forward dinner playlists and Afro-Caribbean entrance sets are included in every package. You are not paying a premium for faith-friendly music — you are paying for a DJ who has already curated it and can read the room when the pastor grabs the microphone.
